the island I grew up on in America is called Mount Desert Island or named Island of the Deserted Mountains in French. We have THE only natural Fiord on the east coast of the United States called Somes Sound. Carved by a glaicer (sp), it is by far the most beautiful place in my home. My father is a fisherman, and constantly aware of where he came from. Thanks for the description of your home. It means a lot to me. If at any time you get the chance, please share some pictures with us. So often we talk with people from across the world on this forum and yet we never fully understand where they are from. Wouldn't it be nice to really feel and see where your online friends are from?
