I do a lot of quick changes and have always had the time to take the bucket off.
As for the finish, surgical tape, (the skinny white tape, get the coated kind) can be applied to the clips. This will protect the finish of your bell.
I also believe the Stone Lined, H & B bucket comes in two sizes.
I personally do not care for the sound of the Easy Bucket either. A little hollow sounding to me. (just my opinion)
