I have several. Conn 10A, Conn Directors (2), Getzen Copra-Temps (2).

Lacquered and lacquer-removed. Not a "big-deal" ... wouldn't worry about it. If you don't like how it looks, upon oxidizing over time ... or, just naturally ageing to a fine patina ... just polish it (with any copper/metal polish).

Only thing to be concerned about is verdigris (look it up), which is not likely to occur, given normal maintenance.

Personally, I like all my horns to age naturally. On the other hand, there are those "anal-compulsive" about shining horns.
