Don't look to impress your teacher...at least not with some technical stuff...how about impressing him with your musicality or a fresh interpretation of something? If I was you I would get something that fit my playing very well....Your words do not reveal anything precise about your abilities on the trumpet (grades, years of playing, the most recent piece that you have played would be better) in order to give an advice about a particular piece to choose. Don't look to impress-make music and have fun doing it.
