There are a whole bunch of nice, female, trumpet players in Iowa.
I played with one 35 years ago.

Keeping with the trumpet player criteria:

Alison Balsom,
Andrea Vonk (married and living in Belfast, Eire) great player. Worked in Chicago for awile.
Anna Callihan (sings, composes and plays jazz. Might be at Burklee)
Carol Dawn-Rienhart (sp?) (She won a nation wide beauty contest in college.)
Siv Overli, a Norwegian trumpet player I met in 1997 at ITG.
Amanda Pepping
Judy Saxton
Silverstar
