Hallelujah by Handel

I'm playing this with a choir and a few other instrumentalists (a flautist, and possibly a few string players). I really don't have time to warm up (as I also sing in the choir) unfortunately but I think I'm prepared for that as I usually spend only a couple of minutes. Had a little bit of problem with accuracy but it's coming. I think the main problem is coaxing my Bb trumpet to not overwhelm the choir (although I have not practised with them yet). Do you have any advice?

PS If anyone in Auckland (the one in NZ) is willing to lend me a D trumpet, it would be great.
