My mummy bought me a Yamaha flugel for my 18th b'day (21 years ago). Still play it and like it more than any other flugel I've played.Other professional players who have tried it have offered me money for it as they say the early Yamahas are great. This seems to be a current trend. Everyone wants to play and older horn like a Olds Recording. Most guys who have a super new horn, have an old one as a safety blanket.
