I've got some ideas...
How about the Alpha / Omega symbols on one end, and a nice sketched drawing of a person playing a shofar (God's original trumpet
) on the other end?
You could also have inscribed on one of the plates your favorite verse, such as "Praise Him with the trumpet... Psalms 150"
The ideas are as endless as your imagination!
