Hey, I was at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival too last year when he was there! Man, what an awesome trumpet player! Did you get a chance to check out the clinic he gave? He gave some great tips for playing multiple instruments (since he does it so well :) Man, now I'm excited for Idaho again!
