Hi Ed (and everyone),

Every once and a while I go through a period of time that I wonder why I'm in music, why I play the trumpet, and why I am will to make such big sacrifices for it. Is this common? Is this normal?

More importantly, why do you "do" music? What motivates and inspires you?
