Well, I finally had some time today to give it a real try. Starting with half at 88 (4 notes on down beat and 4 on upbeat) proved a bit too fast for me, so I brought it down to half=80. I found the sound start to thin at about Ab/G# above the staff, and had to pause momentarily at around Bb (3rd line) on the way back down. I rested a bit, and began kicking the tempo up 1 bpm, with breaks in between. Target is 88 for this week, 90 next. By 84, my starting artics were quite a bit cleaner, but again, around 3rd space C or 3rd line Bb or so I had to re-start since my tongue started to get a bit loagey feeling.
