Ok, speak of the devil, the old 80A just got home from Andersons, new valve job, the replate was done around 1973, valves were wore out then. My grandfather bought this horn new, it is a 1921 Conn Victor New Wonder long cornet. The A to Bb mechanism was stripped off before I was born. I got a little better picture of this one, but still trying to figure it out. She looks great to me and sounds even better than she looks!
