Traffic is usually so bad that the subway ends up being faster than a taxi (and cheaper). It's not bad for me, but I feel bad for bassists & cellists when I see them trying to navigate their instuments in the subway.
The drag about living far away is that I have to leave 2 - 2 1/2 hours to get to work everyday.

If a trumpeter takes all his horns, it would not be easier to navigate instruments than if you had a cello or a double base...Surprisingly why, Tony does not feel bad for tuba players...
