Main influences are too many to mention...am listening to one of my all-time favorites right now-Freddie! Mel Lewis and Friends,he just smokes on Moose the Mooche and composes a beauty of a solo on A child is born too. Kenny Wheeler,Woody Shaw,Clark Terry,Miles,Miles,and Miles (all eras) Sweets, Booker Little,Chet,so many and then there are the singers.Give me a minute as I am compiling a list with accesable recordings as well. Remind me to post it Janell.
