to spice things up, i'll omit the names of the actual teachers and let you guess! all of these teachers I studied with during the 70s with the exception of number 4 and number 3 who is a very specific teacher. also, all the teachers (except number 1, but he was a sub with one of the b5) were principlas or members of the big 5 (or what was called the big 5 in my student days)
but to be frank, the greatest teacher i ever had (and have) was/is me so that makes the grand teacher(s) the collective consiousness of all the great minds of the trumpet.
by the way, i haven't played classical music in years what with performing in the jazz and commercial area.
