John- Thanks for sharing that. I know exactly what you're saying. Playing with Alex is a real treat; she is truly a fine and talented musician and warm soul. I can't imagine what it would be like to have a few lessons with her. And those horns...man. I agree completely. Very few horns have made such an impression on me. I've not had the good fortune to try a cornet, but I certainly will the second the chance presents itself.
