| Re: Eclipse Thanks guys...I didn't fully appreciate how beautiful the eclipse was until I looked at the enlarged view...I always see the moon as flat even though I know it is not but the eclipse makes it look like a 3 dimensional planet. I took it from my garden on a Canon 20D camera with tripod and a 200mm lens. I used the 20D because it gives 1.6x to the 200mm making it effectively a 320mm lens. The aperature was f4 and the exposure was 1/3 second using 100 ISO. I tried different combinations of exposure but was surprised how quickly the moon moves....the longer exposures caused blur. I then cropped the picture in Photoshop to make the moon a little larger.... I must admit that I am glad I made the effort.
