Commentary... I doubt Mr. Andre has given permission for any of these videos to be posted on YouTube. My impression of youtube is that unless it's a private video, posted by that individual... then it's more like "bootlegging".

I'm certain there will come a time when video web distribution will be looked at as closely as free (shared) music distribution. Until then, I sure am enjoying it.

I remembered hearing about a performance of Tom Jobim and Frank Sinatra on a TV variety show... so I looked for it.. and there it was. How wonderful to have such access to old footage like that... with just a click.

As for Mr. Andre's performance... once that kind of greatness is achieved, there is nothing he could ever do (play) to change it. Fact of life, our bodies get older and we don't perform at the same level.
