I had been trying to make some adjustments with my mouthpiece position and embouchure. It was very difficult not to slip back in to the old position. Why? That would be a whole new thread. Suffice it to say that the Shulman system is what helped me turn the trick. Once I got it set, I could "force" myself into the position that I wanted to be in. Now, I use it a few days a week during practice for a checkup.
At first glance, it is easy to be put off by the price. It was worth it for me because it helped me through a change. It's a legit piece of training equipment as far as I'm concerned.
