Prokofiev's 3rd Piano Concerto has some nice trumpet solos, and I wouldn't want to sight read the Prokofiev 2nd Violin Concerto without finding a great soft mute first!

I'll bet the Chavez Piano Concerto doesn't get programmed very often north of the border, but that's certainly one of the most difficult Concertos I've ever played, including a nice high D in the first movement.

The Khachaturian Violin Concerto is also fun to play.

My favorite is probably the Dvorak Cello Concerto; it has a nice trumpet part and is one of the best pieces in the rep.
