| Re: Best mouthpiece for Olds Recording I'm using a GR with my Recording and it plays very well, but I had the gap adjusted to modern standards, which was a big improvement. The existing gap was on the order of nearly 1/2 an inch (!). This required a replacement receiver as the existing one could not be machined down enough to fix the gap and I didn't want my mouthpiece backbore lathed down on the outside to fit the horn.
