Well you mom has given you good advice.
I remember a teacher telling me long ago just after she intercepted a note I had written in grade school.
She told me NEVER put anything in writing you don't intend for the whole world to see. She then promptly read my note to the whole class. How embarassed I was as she said aloud things that were only intended for my best friends eyes.
Lesson learned!
