Hi Noel -

Great story! The "one trumpet" show is all too common now. (3 of my last 4 shows were just one trumpet.) I can attest to the fact that there is virtually zero support, and NOWHERE to hide!

It sounds like you helped out a friend, helped out the show, and helped out your reputation by playing great! They were lucky to have you - congrats!
