I will purchase what I feel is the best quality product for the money. I have never felt that Bach Trumpets were worth the money nor have I ever liked them. Face it ... even the most ardent Bach trumpet fans know that the older model Bachs are the ones that everyone wants and looks for ... ask yourself why ... is it because the quality has gotten better and better ? NO ... It's because as one professional player stated to me just the other day ... the new ones are just "a bunch of crap." Right now, I am playing Kanstul Horns ... I love Schilke ... and the Yamahas that I have played and been very good horns also.
