Well, maybe not! I actually dragged mine out for the third set of a big band gig I subbed a month or two ago. I don't do these gigs too often any more, and thought I could make it 3 hours on lead on a 3C. My mistake. The Schlike gave me some range for that last hour.


Overall, though, the best advice is to find a good, middle of the road mouthpiece you like, and practice.
