Here is my Besson 8-10 trumpet, vintage 55-60, bought from a guy in Alaska for $40 plus shipping. Finish not great, some ripples,etc, ist valve doesn't look original. Plays wonderfully, very easy, good valve action, slides well kept, etc. Using now a Merien Jet tone purchased WWBW clearance and I really like it's playing qualities. Wish I could afford a restoration job for appearances sake. This compliments my 8-10 cornet I posted earlier. This is a great thread to regain your baby drooling tendency. Dave |
