For those of you within reasonable driving distance of Montreal, there are four upcoming programs of great interest at McGill that will successfully (knock wood) blend a wide variety of older and modern music -- a hot topic in recent threads here. For those interested, Matthew Brown is hoping to pursue his MMus next year in Germany at the Musikhochschule “Hans Eisler” (perhaps while attending the Ensemble Moderne Academie), Philippe Brunet will pursue his MFA at CalArts, Jeremy Maitland will pursue his MM at Eastman, and Andreas Stoltzfus is currently pursuing his MMus at McGill.
