I'm putting this question in two places hoping for a quick response. I'm using an old Rudy Muck 17C mouthpiece on my trumpet. I recently acquired a Conn Director Cornet without a mouthpiece. Should I get a Cornet mouthpiece comparable to my 17C or not? Same question for my Flugelhorn. If the cup is different than 17C will it effect my embochure negatively when I play the trumpet?
