| Re: Hi & concerns If you can keep your front teeth, great! They're the most important ones, and they don't need to be perfect. The missing ones on the side you can "fill in" with your lips and cheeks. If you're only looking at partial dentures then, there are some options beyond screwing them into your skull. You can play with them out (since you'll be learning without them anyway or hold them in by biting on a piece of cork. try to avoid any wires on the front teeth.
I've found if we pursue our dream of playing the trumpet the other issues will resolve themselves. The trumpet's cool that way.
