Thanks to all for info. I have used many other cornet m.p's like D.W. or Sparx and all ages and vintage Bach pieces. I believe Dale Proctor and Pedal C have gotten it right in my case. After I play though these Schilkes on my Trumpet with a cornet/ trumpet Adapter. The one I like the best. I will have my music tech. remove some of the end of its taper to same length as my Bach pieces. And see if the piece snugs up good and plays with right intonation. Cheaper than replacing my original mouthpiece reciever. In a year or so. Plan to rehab. this little cornet and silver plate it. I do like them and the Reynolds Contempora and Argenta. Just right for a small Church setting. DCR is looking for some water keys for his L.A. Olds Ambassador Trumpet. He posted on the T.H. on my Somebody Help Me. Please. topic. Maybe he will post here as well. Thanks again for everones replys.
