Re: Geneva Trumpet Review request

Made the mistake of ordering one a while back(about $1800). To make a long story short....
Upon receiving the horn I could not believe how terrible the finish was. The slides were not even fit and there was sodder all over the horn. I played the horn for about 1 week when the valves just died on me. When I took it to my repairman he made the interesting observation that this horn was the same horn Sam Ash sold as the Jean Baptiste model for $249.50.....Yep, all the parts fit each other perfectly! The repairman was even able to tell me which factory in China this trumpet came from. The Jean Baptiste model was actually better because the valves are monel instead of the junk Geneva uses.
Don't walk....run away from this outfit.

He sells his horns without a trial period, but if the horn is as terrible as the one I got you can at times get assistance from your credit card company like I did. Thank God for credit card protection!

Just remember the word "custom" can sometimes be as dangerous as "fat free".
