Cornet aficionados:

Does any know what mouthpiece 'standard' this era Conn (S/N 290623) takes? I have tried 3 that came with it and a couple others I had and so far I am favoring a Bach NY 7C I had laying around.

The Bach MP still feels smallish compared to my Warburton 3M. Brand recommendations?

Also, were these cornets built to a lower pitch? It seems I have to have both tuning slides almost all the way in to tune to the 440 standard.

Any other info on the Conn Director cornets is appreciated.
