2 weeks ago I saw a friend of mine walking in the sun, I felt bad for her so I pulled over and picked her up, I could tell she was walking to work. I made it about 1 block when the lights came on behind me. I was actually kind of pissed since I couldn't figure it out. I was doing 8 over..maybe that was it. WRONG. The police officer walked up to my car with his hand on his gun, and looked at me dead in the eyes "Son, Drivers License, registration. Do you know it's illegal to pick up prostitutes?" I looked at her and we both busted out laughing. It was probably one of the most riduculous things I'd ever been pulled over for, his face turned beat red with embarassment as we explained the situation. He gave me back my personal effects and walked away. Not everyone is perfect, and I'm sure he stops people who really are picking up street walkers, but this just made me laugh too hard. |
