I just had to say that I have listened to "Ride! Ferris Wheel to the Modern Day Delta" about five times now. I am really diggin' the music. Jazz/Zydeco/Soul/R&B/Rap all intertwined. Even though Abram is playing trumpet, I feel it is his composing skills and creativity that really shine on this CD. Overall, it is a nice ferris wheel ride of music and I like it a lot. Thanks again Splinter. I will check out Soweto Kinch's stuff too. |
