Re: Finally, my studio!

Well, that is why a lot of your homies are moving here Trent. Taxachussettes is just too much for some.

Honestly, this studio is almost bigger than my old townhouse near downtown. It was purchased in the early 90's and sold for double what we paid in 2002. I was also lucky enough to find this place right before the boom. I am so fortunate to have my little piece of earth. The house is simple, but roomy also. I honestly have no desire to own a new McMansion box. I will keep my cabin in the "woods".

Toots, it would be nice to match the shop to the house, but the cabin is REAL Cypress and I feel faux anything would not look so nice against it. The front door of the house is a dark barn red and a nice contrast to the wood and surrounding flora. I don't want to paint the outside of the shop another shade of boring beige and I feel the barn red would be a really nice contrast against the wood and trees and have a charming look when finished. I can call it "The Brass Barn". Sounds like a great name for a pub, eh?
