to Pat- St. Mary's is still filled with great music. Solomons is still a great place to hit up for a mai-tai or three. It was a cool joint to study music at because of the relaxed atmosphere and liberal arts education. I can even
read believe it or not.
to Mr. Griffin- Yes, Jeff is still teaching at St. Mary's--and thats the reason I went there. He is a really great guy and an even better player--he just gets better with age. He is doing a lot more conducting right now. If you are looking for a good reason to visit, we've established a summer concert series that Jeff directs--I believe we are in our eigth year. here is the website.

To Mr. Hirsh- I am new to the Carroll-sphere.-- I've enjoyed the ride thus far, and am looking forward to the next few years at CalArts. I feel very lucky to be a part of the music that is being made at that school, and a part of the outstanding program that Ed runs.
