| A big HI! to everyone
Hi everyone,
I am totally new to posting on message boards of any kind. Yes.. I am a trumpet player. I started playing in 1976 at the age of 8yrs after watching a local brass band marching in a local carnival parade. My musical ambition was to perform in the Royal Albert Hall, Play in the band for changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace and to perform on TV. All of which I have now done. I am now teach brass & woodwind at Ryedale School (Performing Arts College) in North Yorkshire on a full time independant basis and run my music shop "Minim Music" with my wife Laura in Kirkbymoorside.
I am a total convert to the Geneva Trumpet made by Tim Oldroyd. It is without doubt the best trumpet that I have ever had the pleasure of putting to my lips.
Anyway, enough about me and I look forward to joining this trumpet playing forum.
