Playing second involves getting rid of your own ego and using equipment that makes the first player sound better!
The first issue is that the new piece FEELS good, then come the playability issues. The DW2 is a pretty big mouthpiece and I found the rim sharper than the 3 series. The 2 has a really fat sound but needs tons of air (like most big mouthpieces). If you have any breathing issues, the upper register will easily go flat.
What is wrong with your army of DW4s?
