The 3 rim is a bit like Bach 1 1/4 C the 2 is similar in diameter to a 1 1/2 C but flatter.

I used a 2 when I played solo cornet in a Brass band. Eventually I switched to a 2B.
The description in the Wick leaflet is misleading as the 2 is not really designed for 2nd cornet players, its just a bigger mouthpiece.

They also do a 1 now which is supposed to be more like a Bach 1 rim for trumpet players who have to switch.
