That's the case with some horns, but the TR200 is more like a Bach Strad than it is the Bach TR300. It's similar (especially the valve section) to the Strad, except it has a two-piece bell, adjustable 3rd slide ring, and a different mouthpipe. A pretty good trumpet that you can play for years without needing an upgrade. Enjoy it!
