A good trumpet is a good trumpet regardless of the label put on it. Think of "intermediate" as referring to price, not quality. There are plenty of "professional" trumpets that yours can flat-out out-play, and if you continue to develop your skills, you'll be able to out-play most professional players regardless of what you or they are playing. Enjoy your new horn!
