Nope. I've never used a pitch-to-midi converter, though I read Logic Pro and Digital Performer have something built-in for studio work. My last project involved Ableton Live on stage, so I'll have to check to see if supports anything like that. I mainly use midi for triggering samples or triggering Live to record and loop samples on the fly.

I think Roland used to make some pitch-to-midi hardware. You could probably find some used stuff around.
