I guess i said it a bit unclearly, he meant Real Trumpets as in Bach make some very nice trumpets, he did not critizise any other company, make or custom models.
I did leave trumpet teaching at my school cause the teacher was rubbish, I have private lessons and my teacher is a geat jazz teacher. I also learn classical on the side, I love jazz i listen to 2 hrs of jazz at least a day and play for at least 40-50 mins.
I need a good lead trumpet, and i have been reading reviews and im interested in Bach, Im sure theres someone here that might know, a good Bach for Jazz. I use a Bach Megatone 3c, and i have a lot of volume, air power.
