Sorry all, I have to rant. I'm a big Tower of Power fan and have managed to catch them here in the UK several times over the years. Tickets are usually no more than £20 ($40 ish). They're coming over this year but plaing for a few nights at Ronnie Scotts here in London. I went onto the website to get tickets and they are £75 each!!!!!!!
If you've been down to Ronnie's since they've chaged it, it's been ruined, they've got rid of the downstairs bar where you used to be able to meet bands and have a drink. They've also made it 2 shows a night so you can't even spend the whole night there!! The stupid thing is, it's actually only a few quid more expensive to go to France on the Eurostar and watch them over there!!!
I'm so annoyed, I used to love going to Ronnies and had many memorable nights watching Maynard. ah well, there's more to life I suppose.
