Terrific player. He dominated the big trumpet section a couple weeks back when the Mingus band came to Chicago to play Epitaph. got the lion's share of the solos and played his a** off.Crackling sound. First time I saw him he was playing the Faddis part on Little Royal Suite and he killed it.
