I personally love G bells for smaller horns. It helps darken them up a bit. I have had two Bach Eb/D trumpets. My first was a straight 239 bell. This one that I have now has a 239G and I have to say the difference is huge. I would recommend the G bell without a doubt. I want my smaller horns sounding as close as possible to my C trumpet.
