I would NOT change the leadpipe or add weights. Valve alignment, finish, tuning bell mod (this has straightened out the intonation on every Bach C trumpet that I have ever played with the mod! Push the tuning slide all the way in and just tune with the bell) A sound post to replace the missing brace is required in exactly the same location.
I like Amato water keys better than the standard ones
