thank you all so much. i am a young classical player who is kicking himself because he has never really devoted time to learning how to "swing"...I got a gig coming up where i was asked to blow these tunes down. I guess the saying goes "never turn down a gig (even if you can't play what they employer wants)" I'll probably do this trial-by-fire and tell you guys how it goes down. |
