Yo have got quite a sibject there...As for B flats, there is many different piccolos and prices, so if you are realy serious about buying a piccolo it would be wise first to decide how much are you ready to spent on, and then try as much as you can and choose the best value which suites you the best...It would be also useful to know what kind of sounds you are after and what will be the main application of your horn (all around, chamber msuic, orchestral, solo etc).
