I just visited WBAI website to check the schedule and was stunned to find that Gary Byrd is still active and spinning those sweet sounds.
I got my taste of R & B from Gary and Frankie Crocker (pre FM period) when those cats were on WWRL - 1600 on your dial.

Always nice to see old and familiar names including the culture brokers who enriched so many lives in these U.S of A.
